I’ll Take Romance! (David Rose) (Lyrics+Song/Artist Info) Romantic 4K Music Video Album!

LYRICS:

I’ll take romance
While my heart is young and eager to fly
I’ll give my heart a try
I’ll take romance!

I’ll take romance
While my arms are strong and eager for you
I’ll give my arms their cue
I’ll take romance!

So, my lover when you want me call me
In the hush of the evening
When you call me in the hush of the evening!

I’ll rush to my first real romance
While my heart is young and eager and gay*
I’ll give my heart away
I’ll take romance!

*Traditional meaning: Happy!

David Rose (1910 – 1990) was an American songwriter, composer, arranger, pianist, and orchestra leader. His most famous compositions were “Holiday for Strings”, “Poinciana” and “Calypso Melody”. He also wrote music for many television series, including It’s a Great Life, The Tony Martin Show, Little House on the Prairie, Highway to Heaven, Bonanza, and Highway Patrol under the pseudonym “Ray Llewellyn.” Rose’s work in composing music for television programs earned him four Emmys. In addition, he was musical director for The Red Skelton Show during its 21-year run on the CBS and NBC networks. He was a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, the national fraternity for men in music. He released “Our Waltz” in 1942.

Rose was married on October 8, 1938, to the actress Martha Raye. They were divorced on May 19, 1941. Rose was married for a second time, on July 28, 1941, to the actress & singer Judy Garland. Sadly, They had no children, though Garland, according to biographer Gerald Clarke, underwent at least one criminal abortion during their marriage, at the insistence of her mother, her husband, and the studio that employed her, MGM. Garland* and Rose divorced in 1944. – Wikipedia

*Garland later committed suicide in 1969 (aged 47).

Each one of us needs to look after the good of the people around us, asking ourselves, “How can I help?” That’s exactly what J.e.s.u.s did. He didn’t make it easy for Himself by avoiding people’s troubles, but waded right in and helped out.

NOTE: There is some discussion in the Geek World about what constitutes a 4K Video. iMovie – which these videos are made from – identify this video as 4K. YouTube wavers but at the very least this video is far superior to 1080p any day!
